As a rookie, he finished with one goal and four points in 17 games for the Edmonton Oilers and Bruins, who drafted him in the eighth round (259th overall) in 2002.

Boston traded him to Edmonton for a fourth-round pick on Aug. 30, 2005.

The Bruins then re-acquired him, along with Marty Reasoner and a second-rounder for Sergei Samsonov last March 9.

Stastny, who was born in Quebec City, is the son of hall of famer Peter Stastny and the brother of Colorado Avalanche forward Paul Stastny.

Anton and Marian Stastny, Peter's brothers, also played in the NHL.
