New Jersey Devils goaltender Martin Brodeur, Tampa Bay Lightning centre Vincent Lecavalier and Washington Capitals winger Alex Ovechkin are the NHL's three stars of the week.
Brodeur received the honour Monday after backstopping the Devils to three victories. He had a 0.65 goals-against average and .970 save percentage in those games.
Lecavalier tied for the league lead in goals (four) and points (seven). He had points in all three games he played and had a career-best five points in a win over the Atlanta Thrashers.
Ovechkin also had seven points in three games last week.
