Hockey Night in Canada's Kelly Hrudey:
It's very exciting to be in Calgary right now because of this series. I get two different feelings though. In the city, they're just excited because their team made it, but I think there are enough people that recognize that Calgary is a very dangerous team to play against because they fear no one. Nor do they fear any building that they have to go into. They feel that they can win anywhere.
For Vancouver, because of all the things they had to fight through the last while, I get the feeling that it's almost a sense of relief that they were able to play their way out of it and that they're back to playing how they were earlier this year. It's really the only time they've had adversity this year. Adversity is good for everybody.
I know the Vancouver Canuck organization recognizes how tough Calgary is going to be, but I don't know if the Vancouver fans realize how difficult the series is going to be.
The key for the Canucks will be to keep their composure because Calgary will be an annoying team and a difficult team to play. And there won't be any high scoring games, so Vancouver will have to be patient with that.
For the Flames, it's key that they don't get too emotional, just to continue the way they have for the whole season. What I mean by too emotional is because they have a lot of players who are agitators, they can't go out there and take dumb penalties just to prove that they're a tough team to play against.
