Toronto's season is over and Philadelphia is one step closer to the Stanley Cup after the Maple Leafs fell 3-2 in overtime to the visiting Flyers on Tuesday. Jeremy Roenick scored his second goal of the game 7:39 into OT to clinch the NHL Eastern Conference semifinal series in six games.

Some people are saying that the Leafs don't match up well with the Flyers, but I'm not a total believer in matchups. It's not about how you match up with a team that determines what the final outcome will be. There have been times in the past that I've felt Toronto hasn't matched up well with teams and yet they've had the heart and perseverance to play on, whereas other teams would have caved in.
