    The Vancouver Canucks aren't playing coy with the status of Sami Salo, it looks like he's not even sure if he can play or not. Salo took a shot to the nether regions in Game 5 and was taken to the hospital for precautionary reasons.

  • Canucks running out of blue-line options

    The Vancouver Canucks, who started training camp with 10 NHL defencemen, have quickly run out of options as the injuries pile up in the second round of the playoffs.

    They recently recalled career minor leaguer Lawrence Nycholat, and he'll likely be the team's sixth defenceman on Tuesday in Game 6 against Chicago.
