Maple Leafs winger Joffrey Lupul return in style after scoring his first goal of the season against the Winnipeg Jets Saturday night at the ACC.
Welcome back Joffrey Lupul.
Toronto Maple Leafs winger Joffrey Lupul missed the last 25 games with a fractured forearm.
But it took exactly 1:32 into the first period to make his presence felt on Saturday night against the Winnipeg Jets.
Lupul, 29, created the turnover in Winnipeg's end, then received a pass from teammate Nazem Kradri before sailing a backhand over the glove of Jets goaltender Ondrej Pavelec.
First shift. First touch. First goal of the season.
Now that's a way to make a return.
