An initial turnover put the Jets on their heels in the first period. With the Bruins continuing to apply pressure, the puck ricocheted to forward Patrice Bergeron, who was stationed to Pavelec's right and ready to pounce on an easy goal.
But Pavelec reached back to make a stellar glove save off Bergeron's one-timer.
