The latest play involved Canadiens defenceman Josh Gorges and Leafs right wing Mike Brown at 19:22 of the first period.
Brown hit Gorges from the side and drove the Habs blue-liner into the boards. The hit caused a skirmish between the two teams. Brown received a five-minute checking-from-behind major, and a game misconduct, drawing the ire of Leafs coach Randy Carlyle.
