As we near four weeks of the NHL lockout, CBCSports.ca has been helping give fans a voice. In Saturday's Fan's comment of the day, this fan suggests both sides in the dispute are wrong and are making poor role models for the younger generation.
As we near four weeks of the NHL lockout, CBCSports.ca has been helping give fans a voice.
Until the game we love returns, we will continue to highlight one fan's take on the lockout each day from the posts we've received on Facebook, Twitter and the comments sections on CBCSports.ca.
Here is Saturday's Fan Comment of the Day via Facebook user Mark Walker:
"Both sides are wrong. This is what you are showing the guys and gals in junior leagues. Nice role models you make. Instead of keeping all your revenue and arguing about money. Why not give alot more to the kids struggling to buy a hockey stick or a pair of skates? I know you give some, but no one player or team should be keeping the profits and salaries that the PROFESSIONALS are making. Grow up before you do more serious damage to your image and lose alot more fans.It will be along time before I purchase anything with a team logo on it.The league and the players do alot for society, but these strikes or lockouts undo it all."Want to share your opinion?
