So beginning Friday until the game we love returns, we will highlight one fan's take on the current situation in the NHL.
Here's Friday's comment from Daniel McDonald via Facebook.
"...the fact
that remains is this is just completely sad. The kid in me who loves to watch Saturday night hockey is depressed and know how much of a disappointment this
is for kids beginning to like their favourite teams around the world. I
understand their are a lot of major issues this league has to solve, but for
GODS SAKE why wasn't this solved in the summer!!!! For some of the most
powerful, successful businessmen in the world this is pathetic. They will lose
so many American fan bases all of this discussion over revenue sharing will be
pointless because the sport can never grow in this fashion."
