first being an 'illegal check to the head' penalty on Jared Boll for a
reverse elbow to the face of the Flames' Alex Tanguay that would have made Lex Luger proud.

Boll served a two-minute minor, while Tanguay left the game but returned to action later.

That hit on Andreas Nodl cost the Jets' Zach Bogosian his right to play the rest of a very important game against the Hurricanes. Bogosian was tossed, given a five-minute major and a game misconduct for charging.
