For the record: The Kings' Jonathan Quick leads the way with six shutouts this season. A huge task awaits if he's to challenge the all-time single season record of 22 held by George Hainsworth of the Montreal Canadiens, set in the 1928-29 season. NOTE: That record was also set in a mere 44 games.
On pace: Being the (near-)midway point of the season, doubling our current total gives us a guesstimated 170 on the year, close to last year's total of 179.
