Almost a million people have joined the fight to raise awareness for prostate cancer research and men's health during Movember.
Nearly $100 million has been raised so far as donations continue to pour in, including $34 million coming from Canada (the most of any country).
Though everyone knows that many NHL players historically let the facial hair run wild during playoff time, this year, unlike any other, November has become the new, more refined month for mustachioed hockey men.
According to Movember.com, the NHL has raised over $220,000. The leading fundraising NHLer is Stars' Eric Nystrom at $5,636. The leading fundraising team is MLSE and Wendel Clark at $104,000, followed by the Dallas Stars.
