The National Hockey League'sPlayers' Association accepted the resignation of senior director Ken Kim on Friday.

Kim, along with former executive director Ted Saskin, were put paid leave of absence in March following allegations they read players' e-mails.

The NHLPA executive board, who voted unanimously to fire Saskin on May 10, made the announcement in a brief release, saying no further comment was forthcoming because "this is an internal matter."
