The Great One may be retired from the NHL, but he's still helping make hockey history.

Wayne Gretzky chatted with Hockey Night in Canada's Scott Oake on Saturday as the Los Angeles Kings hosted the Anaheim Ducks at Dodger Stadium -- the first outdoor NHL game in California.

The hockey legend and former Kings captain helped promote the 2014 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series which kicked off Saturday in Los Angeles.
