Hamhuis, Staal, Boedker at the centre of trade rumours

These are just a few of the NHLers that are likely to be moved before the NHL Trade Deadline, Monday, Feb. 29 at 3 P.M. ET. From left to right: Loui Erikkson (BOS), Mikkel Boedker (ARI), Dan Hamhuis (VAN), Eric Staal (CAR).

Time is running out for NHL sellers to offload players they don't want and buyers to build the best possible team to make a run at the cup.

Where the Chicago Blackhawks have made it clear they have their eyes on the big prize, others like the Edmonton Oilers and Toronto Maple Leafs find themselves in rebuild mode.

Here's a rundown of five players to watching leading up to the deadline on Monday at 3 p.m. ET.

Mikkel Boedker, Arizona Coyotes

Dan Hamhuis, Vancouver Canucks

Loui Eriksson, Boston Bruins

Eric Staal, Carolina Hurricanes

Radim Vrbata, Vancouver Canucks
