Mats Sundin was lifted from the lineup for Game 3 of the Vancouver Canucks' opening-round series against the St. Louis Blues on Sunday after the forward's injured groin didn't sufficiently respond to treatment.

Sundin suffered the injury late in Friday's Game 2 when he fell behind the St. Louis net, and it isn't known whether he'll be available for Game 4 on Tuesday night.

The Blues called up Yan Stastny with the intention of having him replace forward David Perron, but Perron decided to play through his injury.

Right-winger Dan Hinote decided he couldn't play, and his spot in the St. Louis lineup was taken by tough guy Cam Janssen.
