The NHL on Friday assigned start times for five remaining games in the opening round of the Stanley Cup playoffs, including Game 6 of the Calgary-Chicago series.

The Flames will host the Blackhawks for Game 6 on Monday at 9:30 p.m. ET. The contest became necessary when Calgary defeated Chicago 6-4 at home on Wednesday to even the best-of-seven series at two games apiece. Game 5 goes Saturday night in Chicago.

Game 6 of the New Jersey-Carolina series will be played on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. ET. The Devils lead 3-2 after blanking the Hurricanes 1-0 at home on Thursday night.

If a sixth game is necessary in the Sharks-Ducks series, it will take place in Anaheim on Monday (CBC, CBCSports.ca, 10:30 p.m. ET). The Ducks lead 3-1 and can wrap things up on the road on Saturday night (CBC, CBCSports.ca, 10 p.m. ET).

Philadelphia and Pittsburgh will play Game 7, if necessary, on Monday (CBC, CBCSports.ca, 7 p.m. ET). The Penguins lead the series 3-2 heading into Game 6 on Saturday afternoon (CBC, CBCSports.ca, 3 p.m. ET).

Game 7 of the Washington-New York Rangers series would take place on Tuesday at 7 p.m. ET. The Rangers led 3-1 heading into Friday night's Game 5.

Start times have not yet been determined for potential seventh games in the Calgary-Chicago and San Jose-Anaheim series. Both games are scheduled for Wednesday.
