Stanley Cup final on Hockey Night in Canada

Hockey Night in Canada is broadcasting the Stanley Cup final between the New York Rangers and Los Angeles Kings, starting Wednesday (CBC,, 7:30 p.m. ET).

The Stanley Cup final will feature the New York Rangers against the Los Angeles Kings, beginning June 4 on CBC. 

Hockey Night in Canada will broadcast the best-of-seven championship series, with Game 1 on Wednesday (CBC,, 7:30 p.m. ET).

The Rangers, who eliminated the Montreal Canadiens in six games in the Eastern Conference final, open at Los Angeles, winner of the Western Conference final in seven games over the Chicago Blackhawks.

Jim Hughson will handle play-by-play duties with analyst Craig Simpson from the booth, while colour commentator Glenn Healy will be rinkside.

Scott Oake will conduct interviews and host the Hockey Night Post-Game Show live at  

Ron MacLean and the Studio 42 crew  - Elliotte Friedman, Kelly Hrudey, P.J. Stock - will be on the road throughout the Stanley Cup final, with Friedman manning the I-Desk.
