Ken Holland can't wait for the 2013-14 NHL season to get underway.
The Red Wings general manager and executive vice president joined Hockey Night in Canada Radio on SiriusXM to discuss the new NHL realignment and how the team will most definitely benefit from it.
Holland said the Red Wings will take advantage of early road games, as well as less travelling to the West Coast.
He also highlighted the realignment will be "outstanding for fans" as they will get to enjoy more Original Six games.
