Winnipeg Jets are sending 19-year-old forward Mark Scheifele to the Barrie Colts of the Ontario Hockey League. Jets general manager Kevin Cheveldayoff says he still has confidence in Scheifele.

Scheifele, who was selected by the Jets with the seventh overall pick in the 2011 draft, did not record a point in four NHL games this season.
