Pittsburgh Penguins center Sidney Crosby, Washington Capitals right wing Alex Ovechkin and Tampa Bay Lightning right wing Martin St. Louis have been nominated as finalists for the Ted Lindsay Award.

The award is presented annually to the most outstanding player in the NHL as voted by fellow members of the NHL Players' Association. Crosby, Ovechkin and St. Louis have all previously won the award. This year's winner will be announced during the Stanley Cup final.
St. Louis had a goal and an assist for the Lightning to win the league scoring title in Tampa Bay's 5-3 loss to the Florida Panthers in the season finale for two non-playoff teams on Saturday night.

The 37-year old St. Louis finished the year with 60 points, making him the oldest player in league history to win the Art Ross Trophy. He also won that trophy in 2003-04 when he finished with 94 points.
