Michel Therrien will return as the head coach of the Montreal Canadiens next season, according to a report from Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports.

Therrien has been under heavy scrutiny this season after Montreal's hot start was spoiled by Carey Price's injury and the team subsequently went into a tailspin.

The team currently sits 13th in the Eastern Conference with a record of 32-31-6.
