Jaromir Jagr passes Brett Hull for 3rd on all-time goals list
Panthers forward strikes twice in win over Jets
Jaromir Jagr scored twice Saturday night to pass Brett Hull for third place on the NHL's career scoring list with 742 goals.
Jagr tied Hull when he redirected a centring pass from Dmitry Kulikov in the second period of the Florida Panthers' game against the Winnipeg Jets. He got his second goal late in the third period by finding a loose puck in front and flicking it in for a 3-1 lead.
Only Wayne Gretzky (894) and Gordie Howe (801) have scored more NHL goals than Jagr. The 44-year-old Jagr has 20 goals in his 22nd NHL season.
Jagr also scored 66 goals during three seasons in Russia's Kontinental Hockey League.
