Jaromir Jagr is now all alone in eighth place on the NHL's all-time goals list.

The New Jersey Devils forward passed Steve Yzerman on Wedneday night with the 693rd goal of his career.

Jagr scored the goal at 2:08 in the second period against the Ottawa Senators in a home game at the Prudential Center. It was Jagr's 12th goal this season his first in nine games.

The 41-year-old in his 20th season needs one more goal to tie Mark Messier for seventh place. Jagr could also reach Mike Gartner‘s career mark of 708 goals in sixth place before the season ends.
