Calgary Flames rookie Corban Knight experienced the devastating effects of the Alberta floods this past summer on a first-hand basis. 

Knight lost his family home, and his childhood possessions along with it to the raging waters that ripped through the southern parts of the province. 

The CBC's Ian Hanomansing examines how the forward has managed to recover from the natural disaster that rocked his personal life.
