HNIC Radio: Trevor Linden doesn't like NHL staged fighting
Former Vancouver Canucks great thinks fans don't like seeing it anymore
Trevor Linden likes where the NHL is right now, but he doesn't necessarily like seeing players drop their gloves.
The veteran former Vancouver Canucks star forward thinks fighting doesn't have much of a place in today's game, saying he doesn't believe fans want to see the prototypical staged fight.
Linden joined Hockey Night in Canada Radio on SiriusXM hosts Rob Pizzo, Jim Hughson and Elliotte Friedman in Vancouver Monday to discuss why he thought the game has outgrown fighting.
