Toronto Maple Leafs sniper Phil Kessel got his club on the score sheet on Friday night with a spectacular solo effort against the New Jersey Devils.

Out of Phil Kessel's many snipes over his career, the one on Friday would even make Wesley jealous.

Although Kessel hasn't made any appearances in the Blade movies, the blade of the Toronto Maple Leafs winger's stick was equally as lethal in his team's 2-1 shootout win over the Nashville Predators.

The 26-year-old went end-to-end against the Devils and made a couple of quick moves, beating New Jersey netminder Cory Schneider for the game's first goal in the third period.
