Blues forward's stick plays puck behind net

Derek Roy of the St, Louis Blues has a little bit of trouble holding onto his stick. 0:25

Derek Roy is a pretty good stickhandler, but he couldn't get a handle on his stick for a brief moment in the first period Monday night.

The St. Louis Blues forward was trying to play the puck behind his net during the Blues' 3-2 overtime loss to the Ottawa Senators, but his stick got caught in between the boards as his momentum carried him away.

But the stick seemed to have a mind of its own, even stopping the puck on its way back around the boards.
