Frank Corrado picked up a career high five assists as the Sudbury Wolves crushed the visiting Niagara IceDogs 7-2 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League play.
The 19-year-old defenceman earned the game's first star and has seven assists in his last two outings and 14 assists in 14 games overall.
Brody Silk scored three times for the Wolves (7-7-0) as Joshua Leivo and Dominik Kahun each had a goal and three assists.
Michael Kantor scored twice to round out Sudbury's offence.
Dougie Hamilton scored both goals for the IceDogs (9-5-1), who had their four-game winning streak halted, and Ryan Strome picked up an assist on each of them.
Hamilton now has six goals and 17 points in 15 games, which leads all defencemen in OHL scoring.
Joel Vienneau stopped 42-of-44 shots for the victory as Brent Moran allowed seven goals on 35 shots in just his fourth career start.
The man advantage clicked for both squads as Sudbury went 3-for-4 and Niagara 2-for-5.

At Sudbury, Ont., Hamilton opened the scoring at 9:02 of the first period, however Leivo and Silk responded less than four minutes apart to give the Wolves a 2-1 lead after 20 minutes of play.
Hamilton tied the score 1:02 into the second period with his second power-play goal of the game.
Silk scored his second power-play goal of the game at 11:04 and Kantor scored another goal for Sudbury with the extra man at 18:50 to make it 4-2 heading into the final period.
Silk, Kantor and Kahun each scored for the Wolves in less than a four-minute span midway through the third period.
Greyhounds 6, Otters 5 (SO)
At Erie, Pa., Connor Brown scored three times for the Otters (4-7-3), but it wasn't enough as Andrew Fritsch scored the winner in the shootout to give Sault Ste. Marie (8-7-0) the victory.

At Kingston, Ont., Tyler Graovac scored three times and assisted on two others and Sean Monahan had a goal and three assists as Ottawa (4-8-1) handed the Frontenacs (5-7-0) their fourth straight loss.

At Guelph, Ont., Brandon Devlin scored once and set up two more and Jaroslav Pavelka made 31 saves as Windsor (7-5-0) downed the Storm (9-3-1), who lost for the first time in six outings.

At Kitchener, Ont., Matia Marcantuoni scored the lone goal of the shootout and Matt Puempel scored twice in regulation as the Rangers (7-4-1) edged Owen Sound (8-2-2) for its fourth straight victory.

At London, Ont., Matt Mahalak stopped 29-of-30 shots and Garrett Meurs scored the eventual winner midway through the second period as Plymouth (6-3-3) picked up its fourth win in its last five outings by defeating the Knights (8-4-1).

At Mississauga, Ont., Sam Babintsev scored his first career OHL goal and added an assist and Spencer Martin made 30 saves as the Steelheads (8-4-1) beat Brampton (5-5-5) for its sixth win in its last seven contests.

At Oshawa, Ont., Justin Kea scored twice, including the winner short-handed, as Saginaw (5-7-2) held on to defeat the Generals (9-5-1).
