Cory Schneider started in place of Roberto Luongo for the Vancouver Canucks in Game 6 against the Chicago Blackhawks on Sunday night.
Vancouver coach Alain Vigneault said after Chicago's 5-0 victory in Game 5 that Luongo would remain the starter despite being pulled for the second straight game. The Canucks lead the series 3-2.
Luongo, a finalist for the Vezina Trophy as the league's top goalie, has given up 10 goals in 40 shots over the last two games. The Canucks won the first three games but Chicago has responded with back-to-back five-goal victories.
Luongo has struggled against the Blackhawks in the playoffs in 2009 and last year, although he shut out Chicago in the opener of the series with 32 saves.
Vancouver's No. 1 goalie was 38-15-7 with a 2.11 goals-against average in the regular season.
