Vancouver Canucks goaltender Roberto Luongo shared his thoughts on why he wasn't moved on Wednesday's NHL trade deadline.

Luongo said his contract "sucks," adding it prevented any potential move from Vancouver.

"It's been an emotional ride the last year," he said. "It's more the unknown that has gotten to me more than anything else. I'm proud to be a Vancouver Canuck, I love it here, I love my teammates, and there's nothing wrong with that."
