Canadiens blank Bruins to force Game 7 in Boston

Lars Eller scored two minutes into Monday night's game in Montreal and then the Canadiens forward and his teammates didn't let up, posting a 4-0 win over the Boston Bruins in Game 6 of the NHL Eastern Conference semifinal.

Lars Eller started the scoring two minutes into Monday night’s game in Montreal and then the Canadiens forward and his teammates didn’t let up.

Max Pacioretty and Thomas Vanek followed with second-period goals and Vanek added another in the third to lead Montreal to a 4-0 win over the visiting Boston Bruins on Monday night.

Carey Price made 26 saves for the Canadiens, who have forced a Game 7 in the NHL Eastern Conference semifinal on Wednesday in Boston (CBC,, 7 p.m. ET).
