The Montreal Canadiens announced Thursday they have swapped minor-league goaltenders with Tampa Bay, obtaining Dustin Tokarski from the Lightning in exchange for Cédrick Desjardins.

Tokarski, 23, has appeared in seven career NHL games, all with Tampa Bay, compiling a 3.54 goals-against average and .871 save percentage.

In 33 games this season with the AHL’s Syracuse Crunch, the former fifth-round NHL draft pick has posted a record of 18-8-4 with a 2.46 GAA and .900 save percentage.

Desjardins, 27, was 7-13-2 with a 2.94 GAA this season playing for the AHL’s Hamilton Bulldogs.
