Ben Bishop's job is to stop pucks, but on Saturday afternoon he went on the offensive.

The six-foot-seven Tampa Bay Lightning goaltender went after six-foot Montreal Canadiens agitator Brandon Prust during a commercial break in the second period of Tampa Bay's 2-1 overtime win on Hockey Night in Canada.

Bishop appeared to be reacting to Prust, who jabbed the goalie with his stick as the two were exchanging words before the netminder took offence and confronted him.

A centre-ice scrum ensued and Montreal goalie Carey Price left his crease, but didn't get involved in the action.

Bishop, Price and Prust all got two-minute penalties while George Parros and Radko Gudas received 10-minute misconducts.
