Jack Hillen barely caught a glimpse of superstar Alex Ovechkin at centre ice, but he saw plenty of stars after a massive collision Tuesday night.

The Capitals defenceman was down on the ice for several moments after being levelled on a high-speed accidental collision with his teammate in overtime against the L.A. Kings.

He was helped off the ice by training staff while teammate Ovechkin was also visibly shaken up. Washington lost the game 5-4 in a shootout.
