Bridgeport Sound Tigers goalie David Leggio got caught intentionally knocking off his net during an AHL game Sunday night.

The referee called for a penalty shot after a 2-on-0 rush by Springfield Falcons players Dana Tyrell and Lukas Sedlak ended prematurely by Leggio's act of desperation.

In the end, the move paid off as Leggio was able to stop the penalty shot, but it didn't make a difference to the outcome as the Sound Tigers dropped a 4-3 decision to the Falcons.
