It's just past the 10-game mark on the 2009-10 NHL season, and there's already been some huge surprises (and disappointments).

So what's got you humming and hawing? Is it the improbable Colorado Avalanche, who sits atop the Western Conference when most thought they'd be bottom-feeders?

Maybe it's the Ottawa Senators, who are in the top half of the East? How about the struggling Detoroit Red Wings? The high-flying Pittsburgh Penguins? The last-place Toronto Maple Leafs? Or maybe it's the brewing goalie controversy in Montreal?

The Edmonton Oilers were off to a fast start, but have cooled as of late. Ditto for the Calgary Flames. And what about Vancouver, who's dealing with an ailing Roberto Luongo?
