Kaslo & District Arena, Kaslo

Hi my name is Brendan. I am only 8 years old, so my mom is helping me with this so I can join in Hockeyville.
Hockey is my favourite sport. I enjoy every moment of it.
My dad is the president of the arena. He works really hard every day but he still finds time to help out with the arena. He works for free to help the arena. I hear him on the phone talking to lots of people to get money to help our arena. Kaslo needs the money for the ice. The machine that makes the ice is old. I think the machine is older than my dad. We need the money to get a new machine. If we don't get a new ice machine we won't be able to play hockey anymore.
If we can't play hockey, then I'll cry. Because hockey is the best sport in the world. Someday I hope to be in the NHL.
