We have just recently been told by the Thunder Bay Kings that there will not be a Minor Midget Kings team!!!!! We are trying very hard to get our team back for the development of hockey in Thunder Bay.
Can you help us anyway you can please.

To Bryan G,

The kid is only 19 years old. He plays out there every night with the best grown men ever to play the sport of hockey and they are ALWAYS all over him. Give him a break. He is the best player out there and we are giving him a hard time about falling from a sharp, cold high stick to the face while we don't speak out against the unsportsmanlike play from some of the veterans who simply can't keep up and cheat to gain an advantage? That's ludacris. Sidney will mature as a player (he's still maturing as a human being; don't forget) so in the mean time, let's stop ganging up on the kid for not being able to control his reactions to situations where he feels cheated on. Just give him time.

I dont blame Don for being hard on Crosby, he has more dives then Greg Louganis, Sid has to grow up and play like a star. He does need a tough guy to stick up for him, but for now, he has to quit falling like he's been shot, everytime he gets hit.I love watchin Crosby, except for when he whines and dives. God Bless the troops over seas

Re;06-07 hockey schedule:can anyone explain to me why after all these years of watching- WHY do i have to watch the same teams over and over play each other? If there are 30 teams and an 82 game schedule--- then i would expect to see Toronto play each team at least once. I was told players didn't want to travel; to tiring. BOO WHOO!!! You guys could be standing in an unemployment line instead of collecting millions. FANS NEVER FORGET!!!! Wise up before it's to late.

Thank god for video recorders.
I record the game and fast forward to Don Cherry, stopping sometimes if there something exiting happens.
Figure skating has more action.
we need more Sheldon Souray's

I'd like to see Mr.Cherry portray Sidney Crosby in a positive way sometime. I am dissappointed that he wants to bring back the goon as a way of solving on ice policing. I think that the penalties assessed to Sheldon Souray should send a message to people who want to take the law into their own hands.

I watch a lot of hockey on and off the TV
and realy enjoy it. I watch the Medicine Hat
Tiger which is great cheap intertainment.
I do not like the shoot out, thats not hockey.
Its a real treat that TNS is now showing
teams like the Tigers, Hitmen etc, more of these would be great, as these kids are
really puting out , not like some NHL`ers
that are only going 3/4 tilt at times/ljb

Don Cherry is right on . The game has faded .Why is it before helmets and tons of money there were no great amounts of highsticking. No man is worth a million ayear whatever the sport. Bring back the good old days when hockey was played for the love of it.

This is for Bill from Texas. In response to your comment that you doubt the soldier is Canadian because the soldier "is wearing U.S. Army physical training uniform" that doesn't necessarily mean that he's not Canadian, as I have observed many Canadian soldiers wearing those shirts at PT here at CFB Gagetown, in fact I'm drinking coffee right now from a Westpoint mug, but I'm a Canadian.

I think we are lucky to have Don Cheery on the cbc. I think he speaks for the majority of us....even though he might "upset a few"
One thing I like about Don is he is not politicaly correct....
He is not afraid of what others might think.

Greetings from Scotland

I'd just like to say thanks to all at Hockey Night for consistantly putting on such a great show. My 10 year old son had no interest in hockey until he found the programme by mistake while flicking through the channels one night around a year ago. Initially it was Don's suit that grabbed his attention but he listened to what he was saying, watched the game and has never looked back. He joined the local junior club next day and now trains 2 nights a week and plays games most Saturdays and Sundays. He's met loads of new friends and is much more confident than he used to be as a result, and it's all thanks to one of Don's suits.
Keep up the good work.

Why not give the winning conference home ice advantage in the finals. Make it worth playing.

Grapes and Ron are the best announcers in sports. You are so lucky to see 'em all the time.

All expences paid trips and cash? They already got an all expences paid trip to Dallas. The players are making millions, what incentive would cash and trips be. I say get rid of the all-star game.

Think both Don and Ron are great but Ron keeps interrupting Don and takes too much time away from Don speaking.

Don may have some crossed information regarding the "lawn plot" picture of a soldier cutting grass with scissors. The individual in the picture is wearing a U.S. Army physical training uniform, so I doubt he's canadian.
