Vancouver Canucks winger Daniel Sedin was named the NHL's first star of the week Monday after putting up five goals and seven points in four games.
It's the first time all season he's received a weekly honour from the league.
Anaheim Ducks goalie Jonas Hiller was named the second star of the week while Jose Theodore of the Minnesota Wild was given the third star.
Sedin led all NHL players in scoring while helping the Canucks post a 3-0-1 last week. He now has 54 points on the season, leaving him tied with brother Henrik for third overall.
Hiller posted a 2-1-0 record, 0.67 goals-against average and .977 save percentage in three starts, finishing the week with back-to-back shutouts. He leads the league in appearances and is tied for second in victories.
Theodore made four starts in goal for the Wild last week, finishing with a 3-1-0 record, 1.50 GAA and .946 save percentage.
