The St. Louis Blues claimed forward B.J. Crombeen off waivers from the Dallas Stars on Tuesday.

Crombeen, 23, has one goal and four assists for five points with 26 penalty minutes in 15 games this season.

He posted two assists in eight previous games with the Stars, who drafted him in the second round (54th overall) in 2003.

Crombeen is the son of Mike Crombeen, who played in St. Louis from 1978 to 1983.

They will be the third father-son combination to have played for the Blues, joining Bob and Brent Johnson and Peter and Yan Stastny.
