The Saskatchewan Roughriders say they have acquired import wide receiver Prechae Rodriguez from the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

In exchange, Hamilton will receive non-import receiver Adam Nicolson and a third-round pick in the 2011 CFL draft.

Rodriguez, who is six-foot-five and 208 pounds, spent the last two seasons with the Tiger-Cats after originally signing with the team as a free agent in May 2008.

In 26 games, the Auburn product had 115 receptions for 1,594 yards and 10 touchdowns.

The 25-year-old had a standout season in his rookie year in 2008 when he had 70 receptions for 1,099 yards and seven touchdowns in 14 games, earning him acknowledgement as the East Division's outstanding rookie.
