The native of Pickering, Ont., is also the first player to ever win the Hec Crighton Trophy with two different teams.
Glavic also won the award with the Saint Mary's Huskies in 2007 before he transferred to Calgary.
This time he earned the honour over Mount Allison receiver and kick returner Gary Ross of Windsor, Ont.; Laval quarterback Benoit Groulx of Laval, Que.; and Western Ontario quarterback Michael Faulds of Eden Mills, Ont.
Groulx, too, was in contention for a second Crighton, having won it last year.
The Dinos will take on Queen's in the Vanier Cup championship game Saturday in Quebec City.
Other individual award winners were:
- Concordia linebacker Cory Greenwood of Kingston, Ont., Presidents' Trophy as top defensive player.
- Windsor centre Matt Morencie of Windsor, Ont., J.P. Metras Trophy as outstanding down lineman.
- Calgary defensive tackle Linden Gaydosh of Peace River, Alta., Peter Gorman Trophy as rookie of the year.
- Manitoba linebacker Thomas Hall of Winnipeg, Russ Jackson Award for combining academics, athletics and citizenship.
