The Hamilton Tiger-Cats signed import wide receiver and kick returner Kevin Robinson on Thursday.

The five-foot-11-inch, 196-pound native of Fresno, Calif., played four years with Utah State and was selected in the sixth round of last year's NFL draft by the Kansas City Chiefs.

Robinson played eight games with the Chiefs last season, where he returned 19 kickoffs for 420 yards and 11 punts for 94 yards.

While at Utah State, Robinson set school records for punt return yards (1,104), punt return touchdowns (four), kickoff returns (110), kickoff return yards (2,725) and kickoff return touchdowns (four). The 24-year-old also caught 178 passes for 2,485 yards and 21 touchdowns.

Robinson's average of 16.16 yards every time he touched the ball set an NCAA career-record.
