Once a week, CBCsports.ca breaks down the balance of power in the Canadian Football League.

1. MONTREAL ALOUETTES [unchanged]
Overall record: 11-2
Streak: Four wins

Not often you see Anthony Calvillo glare at anyone, but he had the offensive line in his sights after getting sacked four times in a half by Toronto.
2. CALGARY STAMPEDERS [unchanged]
Overall record: 8-5
Streak: Two wins

Not a big fan of mid-season "statement games" but the trip to Montreal for Thanksgiving this week does look to be fun. Have to get the offence untracked again.
3. SASKATCHEWAN ROUGHRIDERS [unchanged]
Overall record: 7-6
Streak: One loss

Once again, without running back Wes Cates chugging along, things are worrisome. The Argos defence is coming in and they'll be a challenge. And a win for the green and white.
4. B.C. LIONS [up from 6]
Overall record: 6-7
Streak: One win

QB Buck Pierce may be held together with bubble gum, string and a prayer, but he can hump that ball downfield. Good old coach Wally. Always an answer.
5. EDMONTON ESKIMOS [down from 4]
Overall record: 6-7
Streak: Two losses

Letting the Winnipeg Blue Bombers back into the playoff picture was dumb. And embarrassing. Did we say dumb?
6. HAMILTON TIGER-CATS [down from 5]
Overall record: 6-7
Streak: Two losses

The Kitties' biggest game in over five years comes up on Thanksgiving Day at home against Winnipeg. Must win. Must.
7. WINNIPEG BLUE BOMBERS [unchanged]
Overall record: 5-8
Streak: Two wins

Smoke? Mirrors? Coach Mike Kelly sold his soul to the devil? Next game against Hamilton will tell the tale.
8. TORONTO ARGONAUTS [unchanged]
Overall record: 3-10
Streak: Three losses

An epiphany came to us this past weekend. Next year, Bart Andrus as head coach and Matt Dunigan as offensive co-ordinator. Seriously.
