(Peter McCabe/Canadian Press)Anthony Calvillo, Cam Wake, Dominique Dorsey and Ben Cahoon were named on Thursday as the CFL's top players for September.
Calvillo won the offensive player award for the month after the Montreal Alouettes quarterback completed 116 of 166 passes for a 70 per cent completion rate.
He threw for an average of 345 yards per game and had 10 touchdown passes with only four interceptions while leading the Alouettes to a 3-1 record in September.
Wake, a defensive end with the B.C. Lions, took the monthly defensive honour.
Wake compiled nine sacks and 25 tackles in four games, and was named defensive player of the week twice in the month.
Dorsey took home the special teams award.
The Toronto Argonauts star racked up 1,038 combined yards in September, including 803 on special teams. Dorsey had 557 kick-return yards, including a touchdown, and 179 punt return-yards.
Cahoon claimed the Canadian player honour.
The Alouettes slotback averaged 8.5 receptions and 100 yards per game in September.
