Time for the Redskins to change their name?

Washington Redskins owner Dan Snyder doesn't appear willing to change his team's name, but the CBC's Shane Foxman thinks that's not the right course of action.

Barack Obama may think it's worth considering, but the President of the United States of America's opinion might not be enough to sway Washington Redskins owner Dan Snyder to change his team's nickname.

Snyder said on Wednesday he valued the tradition and history associated with the franchise's name and was reluctant to do anything to alter that. 

The CBC's Shane Foxman doesn't think that's the right course of action. Foxman thinks that if it could be deemed offensive, it may be time Washington to rename its franchise.
