Vikings coach Leslie Frazier declined after minicamp practice Tuesday to confirm that Bishop was visiting with the team. After Bishop was released by the rival Green Bay Packers on Monday, the seventh-year veteran told several Wisconsin media outlets he planned to speak with the Vikings in Minnesota. Frazier said he didn't want to "verify any reports" and that any free agents brought in for workouts are "no reflection on our team."
Bishop and the team couldn't agree on a restructured contract. Bishop was due to make $3.464 million this season after missing all of last year with a hamstring injury.
