Carson Palmer

After three weeks of studying the playbook and throwing to receivers who were running at half speed, Palmer went through his first full-speed workout with the Arizona Cardinals. It was in helmets with no pads, but it was still better than throwing against garbage cans. The Cardinals have two more days of their voluntary minicamp.

The Cardinals rotated four quarterbacks last season without much success and traded for Palmer, who became the second Oakland quarterback to throw for over 4,000 yards a year ago. Palmer said Arizona has installed nearly 75 percent of its offense so far in the offseason, but ran only about 5 percent of it during the first workout.
